Compressed Air Panel Control Upgrade at Castle Peak Power Station A & B

Job Details

    For Each of CPA & CPB:
  1. Replaced the obsoleted Allen Bradley SLC 500 Standalone PLC System with new Allen Bradley ControlLogix Redundant PLC System in Compressor House.
    1. Replaced a 13-slot SLC PLC/IO Rack with a new 13-slot ControlLogix I/O Rack.
    2. Installed the new ControlLogix Redundant PLCs and related components to the new mounting plate mounted on the inner right side wall of Compressor Sequence Control Panel (CSCP, located at upper-left compartment of the PLC Panel).
  2. Replaced the Red Lion HMI System with new Allen Bradley PanelView HMI Touch Panel in Compressor House.
    • (CPA only) Installed RS-485 modbus scanners for compressor data monitoring where Red Lion HMI has been directly communicated with.
  3. Replaced the Red Lion web-based HMI monitoring with new Allen Bradley PanelView HMI Touch Panel in Central Control Room (CCR).
